Application Server – ColdFusionMX 8/Flex3 and FlashMX
As an Adobe Solutions Partner, Synthenet uses Adobe's ColdFusion as the application server of choice. Flex and FlashMX are also an integral part of the design process for many projects.
Synthenet has chosen to use Adobe products for their ability to run on a variety of platforms (Windows, Linux and Solaris) as well as their flexibility to deploy applications in both small Windows-based environments, as well as large enterprise-level installations.
Development Methodology - "Toolbox"
Developed and used exclusively by Synthenet Corporation, "Toolbox" is a combination of best practices, procedures and rules. "Toolbox" is a manner of developing web-based applications with structured, logical, reusable and robust programming.
Operating System
Synthenet currently uses Windows 2003R2 as its primary operating system.
Databases - SQL Server/Oracle
The vast majority of our solutions are powered by Microsoft SQL Server. We also have several clients who use Oracle as their database platform. Synthenet's Content Management System is set up to work with both of these products.
