Pongo Software, LLC, approached Synthenet to develop a sophisticated, yet simple-to-use web-based career management application where users could create professional, customized resumes and cover letters. They also wanted powerful organizational and distribution capabilities for users who are involved in an active job search, as well as those who wish to keep their resume up-to-the-minute in terms of educational or career advancements.

Pongo envisioned the application featuring customized resume and cover letter templates with sample text; on-screen writing and grammar advice; the capacity to print, download, e-mail, or fax directly from within the application; automatic tracking of resume submissions; and a way to schedule follow-up tasks and reminders.

Following Pongo’s vision, Synthenet incorporated new custom development, Resume BUILDER and PUBLISHER to enable Pongo clients to create, edit, format duplicate, distribute, and store their career management data indefinitely on Pongo's secure online server, with 24/7 login access to their documents.
