Synthenet Releases Online Management System Version 7.1;  New Version Offers Expanded Capabilities for Content, Form, Messaging, Events and Commerce Modules

NORTHBOROUGH, MA July 25, 2005 - Synthenet Corporation (www.synthenet.com), an established leader in web development, announced the latest release of their web site management tool.  Synthenet's Online Management System Version 7.1 is the result of over 4 years and 5,000 hours of development and testing and is a proven and affordable end-to-end solution for managing web site content, e-mail marketing, E-commerce, online forms and events.

“Our latest Online Management System Version 7.1 release is a powerful tool for organizations looking to position themselves as leaders in their industry. This new version allows our clients to have a customized web site which they control.  This eliminates the need to pay costly fees for changes and maintenance that many other web sites require,” said Rodney Capron, Jr., Founder and President. “Many of our clients have already benefited from the enhanced functionality of this latest version.”

“The messaging module from Synthenet has really allowed us to take our member communications to the next level. Not only do our HTML e-mails look highly professional, but they are so easy to create.” Stated Breanne Quinn, Outreach & Education Director,

Retailers Association of Massachusetts.  She continues, “With the forms module on our website, we are now able to collect all kinds of valuable information from visitors to our site. It has also saved us a great deal of time and manpower as it automates what previously took a great deal of time and energy to collect.”

Online Management System version 7.1 represents a significant advancement in web site management with many features stemming from client feedback and requests.  This latest release contains dynamic and unique functionality such as:

Content Module:  Web site content is easily maintained in-house by the client's staff without requiring any knowledge of HTML.  This module allows the user to add new content and edit existing content in a matter of minutes, while managing revisions and maintaining the integrity of site design and the user experience.  New features include improved link management capabilities and automatic e-mail notification of expired content to site administrators.

Form Module:  Site administrators can easily create HTML forms and surveys on any page in the web site.  Results may be e-mailed and are also stored in the database.  A new feature includes an option for real-time credit card processing through forms.  Roles may also be assigned to users based on form completion (i.e. purchasing different levels of membership to gain access to specific content created for that role).

Messaging Module:  This is a user-friendly, time-saving interface used to send bulk e-mail communications to any number of diversified electronic mailing lists.  Features include subscribe/unsubscribe capabilities, automatic bounced e-mail processing, readership tracking and flexibility with text/html versions.  New features include a simplified one-step unsubscribe process, graphical bounce processing report and enhanced broadcast report.

Commerce Module:  The fully functional E-Commerce Module allows users to view and purchase items, ship to multiple addresses, choose from multiple shipping options and maintain a personal address book.   Clients have the option of setting up real-time credit card processing or downloading and processing orders off-line.  New features include the ability to purchase electronic documents such as PDFs, real-time UPS rate look-up and inventory control.

Event Module:  A calendar interface by which visitors can view events by month (or view a list of all events), sort by event type and location and view details of events.  New features include an enhanced calendar interface and ability to duplicate events in administration.

Finally, due to continued investment and development, Synthenet Corporation is also pleased to announce major improvements to their infrastructure. The new investments include New/Additional Servers with Enhanced DNS Redundancy Capabilities and Improved Data Storage Capacity; Advanced SPAM Filtering Capabilities; State-of-the-Art Firewalls; Full Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems; Major enhancements in delivery speed and stability of bulk e-mail communications; Gateway Anti-Virus Scanning; additional e-mail server redundancy.
