Content Module
The entire Online Management System and site content (Sections, Pages, Images and Documents) will be easily maintained in-house without requiring any knowledge of HTML. This module allows for you to add new content and edit existing content in a matter of minutes, while managing revisions and maintaining the integrity of site design and the user experience.
- Add, Edit, Delete and Copy and Move Pages and Content within a “tree” environment. Sections containing individual pages may also be expanded and collapsed within the “tree”.
- Upload images in Content Area.
- Create Pop-Up Windows.
- Toggle Between WYSIWYG/HTML Editing in Text Editor.
- Image Tree to easily maintain and control all images for the site.
- Document Tree to easily maintain and control all documents for the site. Attach Various Document Formats to Pages (Word, Excel, .PDF, etc.).
- Create Page Relationships within the Site.
- Create Links, Tables and Numbered/Bulleted Lists within Pages.
- Publish/Unpublish Time-Sensitive Material by Date Range.
- New/Edited Pages May be Previewed Prior to Publishing.
- Most Recent Versions of Content Revisions are saved.
- Define roles with access to secure pages.
- Self-updating Page Indexes (internal links) with display options (short description, display first X number of characters from content, etc.). If a linked page is deleted, the indexed link(s) will automatically be deleted anywhere it appears.
- Specific style sheets are applied throughout the Site, in order to maintain consistent formatting and structural flow of information. Certain formatting functions in the administration area are restricted by these style sheets and cannot be overridden (i.e. font face, font size).
- Unless specified otherwise, each inner page (at the bottom) will contain a printer-friendly icon, allowing the user to print the information on any page in a “clean” format (minus the design characteristics).
- Complete keyword search capabilities, including documents associated with any page in the Site.
- After the first viewing of an end user page by a user, the page information becomes “cached”. The next visitor to that page will benefit from a significantly decreased download time. Pages will continue to be cached until such time as an edit is made to a page. That page's cache is then cleared and the new page will be recreated. Once that page is viewed, it will be cached again in its new state and so forth.
