Synthenet Helps Geoff & Drew's to Distinguish Themselves on the Web
NORTHBOROUGH, MA October 7, 2003 - Synthenet Corporation, a full service web development firm, announced that they completed the development and design of the Geoff & Drew's Incredible Cookie web site (www.geoffanddrews.com). Geoff & Drew's began as a gourmet cookie baking business, delivering warm cookies to local homes and businesses. Their award-winning products have been nationally recognized and they have expanded their business to include an extensive selection of the finest cookies, brownies, chocolates and coffees.
In addition to a stunning new look and feel, a sophisticated product configuration administration was developed to allow Geoff & Drew's to manage every aspect of their products through the administration of the web site. Individual items (packaging, baked goods, etc.) are entered and are then configured into products with their respective images, which are assigned to the different categories on the web site. This will enable Geoff & Drew's to track all of their materials for inventory and accurately schedule their baking and production with information generated from within the administration when an order is placed.
Geoff & Drew's decided to make their web site the functional backbone of their organization - from item and product inventory to baking schedules and production reports and a customer service order entry interface for telephone orders. Synthenet's Content Management System allows the staff at Geoff & Drew's to add, remove, and edit products, images and content at any time, in-house, to keep the site up to date.
