NORTHBOROUGH, MA February 13, 2003 - Synthenet Corporation, a full service web development firm, has launched its new Web Site. The new site (www.synthenet.com) demonstrates Synthenet's commitment to their own technology. The site is powered by a sophisticated content management application developed by Synthenet to make updating information as simple as copy, paste, point and click.
The Synthenet web site highlights the company's core philosophy that with the proper methodology, technology can be instrumental in furthering an organization's business objectives. And, at the same time, it should be very user-friendly. "That's why we're using our own content management system," says Rodney Capron, Jr., President and Founder of Synthenet Corporation. "By utilizing our own software, we're able to easily keep our site's content fresh and relevant. The content management software behind Synthenet's new site is a customizable code-base, designed to enable non-technical users to manage web sites. Through a secure administration interface, users can add and edit web site content. The only technical skills needed are an understanding of popular office productivity applications (i.e. MS Word) and use of a web browser. As an added bonus, the architecture utilizes a WYSIWYG interface for formatting content; has an advanced workflow system for approving content before it goes live; a sophisticated security model for access to the administration area and (in addition to powering the public site), may be used to create a Corporate Intranet.
