Synthenet's Online Management System is backed by three years (over 4,500 hours) of development. We continue to build upon and enhance the application and its modules on a daily basis. The current version of the Online Management System is 7.0. We perform new version upgrades on our web servers on a regular basis (typically each quarter). All clients utilizing the Online Management System automatically receive these upgrades and enjoy the benefits of enhanced functionality.
Web-Based System
Because our Online Management System is licensed software hosted on our servers, we are able to implement projects quickly and efficiently, at a very reasonable cost. And, since everything is web-based, there is no software or hardware to purchase or install. We take care of everything - from front-end design and initial site content population to implementation of the Online Management System. We do not solicit hosting business outside of our client projects. Instead, we focus on delivering outstanding service and support.
E-mail
In addition to hosting client web sites, Synthenet can also host e-mail as part of the Managed Support Fee. This includes Web Mail and full e-mail virus scanning and protection. A SPAM filtering option is available (and recommended) at an additional nominal fee.
Servers
Currently, Synthenet's web, e-mail and database servers are housed at Northeast Data Vault in Marlborough, MA. Northeast Data Vault is a Conversent Communications company, which provides all of the necessary "environmentals" and ensures the highest levels of network performance, reliability and security, including a secure, "clean room", caged environment with redundant connectivity. In addition to 24/7 monitoring, we perform the following routine, scheduled maintenance on our servers; Security Audits and Patches, Daily Off-Site Backup and Updated Virus Protection.
Client Support
Synthenet's support of a project does not end when the site launches. Our team is available for phone and e-mail support. Whether it is a question about using the Online Management System, or a technical problem, we respond quickly and work to resolve your question or issue as efficiently as possible.
Site Statistics
Clients receive an e-mail containing a link to a Site Statistics Analysis for their web site at the end of each month. This e-mail is generated automatically from Funnel Web, the software that performs the statistics analysis. This report provides an abundance of information including unique visitors, repeat visitors, average daily sessions, average session length, pages history, referral sites, visits referred from search engines, browser information and much more.
